Bracelet. The bracelet derives its name from the Latin brachius, arm. Since ancient cultures, the bracelet was worn indifferently by men and women. In some cultures it was a symbol of the valor of a warrior. It is usually worn on the wrist, but there are bracelets that are worn on the upper arm. It was often worn as an amulet. Rigid or soft, thin or very thick, set with stones or smooth, the bracelet cannot be missing among the jewels.
